Here’s a list of players who have had outstanding Performances that led to a standing ovation from both their fans and the oppositions. Its a rare thing in Football, because of it’s rivalry but these players have played beyond doubts and it takes a level of respect to earn such.
1. Frank Ribery
Ribery played with Bayern Munich for 12 years and finally left to what seem to be the end of the French superstar. He Joined Fiorentina in the Serie A and scored the third goal in his Fourth Appearance in a 3-1 win at the San Siro. He tormented Milan so much that he soon received a standing ovation round the stadium when he was withdrawn from the pitch at the last minute.

3. Steven Gerrard
Before the Liverpool Legend left Liverpool in 2015, one of his last games in a liverpool shirt was against Chelsea. Gerrard equalised and also had a fabulous performance before he was substituted and he was well applauded round the stadium. A team where there have always been a fuse between him and the chelsea suporters when he famously turned down a moved to Stamford Bridge.
