1. TALES BY MOONLIGHT
Tales by moonlight was one of the most-watched TV series back in the 90s. Children literally used to wait by their Television sets on Sunday nights. It aired on NTA. It was created by NTA’s Victoria Ezeokoli. The show aired between the ’80s and ’90s.
2. SUPER STORY
“Super Story” was one of the most loved Tv series back in the day. It aired on Thursdays. its been airing from 2001 till present. The debut episode “Oh, Father! Oh, Daughter!” featured Sola Sobowale and Bukky Wright.
3. FAMILY CIRCLE
It showcased the life of a family and how they overcome the daily challenges life throws at them. It featured child actor, Aisha Allison who is now QA auditor at Canada Diagnostic Centres.
4. EVERYDAY PEOPLE
This series was a hit back then, particularly because of its song which was very easy to learn and sing along to. It came with tears, suspense, and laughter. It featured late Sam Loco Efe, Desmond Elliot who is now a member of the house of assembly. It aired in the early 2000s.
5. AGBARA NLA / ULTIMATE POWER
Agbara Nla was a Mount Zion film ministries production that preached the gospel. It used to air on Sunday mornings. It features Mike Bamiloye and Gloria Bamiloye. They are still happily married with grandchildren. “Agbara Nla” aired from 1992-1994.
“Checkmate” focuses on influential families, their heritage, and businesses and how they combat their enemies. Richard Mofe-Damijo, Bob Manuel Udokwu starred in the movie. They are both still very active in their careers. “Checkmate” aired from 1991- 1994.
7. FUJI HOUSE OF COMMOTION
It was a comedy packed series focused on a polygamous home. It remains one of the greatest Nigerian comedy TV shows ever. Iretiola Doyle, Ngozi Nwosu used to act in this series and we all were so fond of them. They are both still very active in their acting careers. It aired in the early 2000s.
“Palace” featured the life of an everyday Nigerian, but most of all preached love amongst other things. It aired in 1998. Featured veteran stars liken Foluke Daramola and Lizz Benson. They are both still fairly active in the movie industry.
9. I NEED TO KNOW
“I need to know” educated youngsters on the risk associated with unprotected sex and sexually transmitted diseases. It was sponsored by The United Nations Populations Fund. Funke Akindele who was known as Bisi was one of the teen actors in the series. She is the producer of Jenifa’s diary, a television comedy series. Aired from 1997-2000.

This life is a suspense-filled Tv series that focuses on two young ladies, bent on getting revenge on their past.
