The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced that 14 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded in the country yesterday May 2 2021.
Osun, Ogun and Kaduna states lead the Coronavirus infection cases as reported by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control for Sunday, May 2.
The 14 new cases were reported from seven states comprising Osun (three), Ogun (three), Kaduna (three), Akwa Ibom (two), Abia (one), FCT (one), and Kwara (one).” However no new cases confirmed in Lagos so far.
There are 165,167 confirmed cases, 155,361 have been discharged and 2,063 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
“Today’s report includes 248 community recoveries in Kwara State managed in line with guidelines,” NCDC said.
