Following the announcement that the popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija Season 6, would begin soon, fans have become divided over the choice of a host.

Calls for a new host started when a tweep wrote, “Ebuka don eat small, make him allow another person chop! Frank Edoho as BBNaija host for this season won’t be a bad choice tho Eviction night go choke gan.”

Ebuka Obi-Uchedu has hosted the Big Brother Nigeria for three seasons. Ebuka, a former BBNaija housemate, has been hosting the show since 2017. However, there have been calls for several popular Nigerian hosts to replace him.

If considered by the organizers, here are six potential hosts for Big Brother Nigeria Season 6.

  1. Frank Edoho:

Frank Edoho is a Nigerian broadcaster and former host of a popular game show, Who Wants To Be a Millionaire. He hosted the show for 13 seasons.

He was a presenter for DBN in 1999 before he moved to Metro FM 97.6 in 2000.

  1. Joseph Benjamin

Award winning television presenter and actor co-hosted MTN’s Project Fame, a talent reality show and featured in the movies Tango with me; and Mr and Mrs.

  1. Kemi Adetiba

Kemi Adetiba is a renowned producer and cinematographer. She was a presenter on Soundcity TV and hosted Nigeria’s first family dance TV show Maltina Dance All for three consecutive seasons.

  1. Ik Osakioduwa

Ikponmwosa Osakioduwa is a Nigerian radio and television on-air personality. He hosted all the Big Brother Africa seasons since the fourth season. He’s also popular for hosting MNet’s Studio 53 as well as a radio presenter in Rhythm 93.7.

Toke Makinwa is a popular television and radio host, vlogger and lifestyle entrepreneur. She’s known for hosting The Morning Drive on Rhythm 93.7 FM and on YouTube for her vlog series, Toke Moments

Nancy Isime is a Nigerian actor, model and media personality. She presented the backstage segments of MTN Project Fame season 7. Nancy also replaced Toke Makinwa as the presenter of the popular show Trending on HipTV. Alongside Reminisce, she co-hosted the 2019 edition of The Headies award.
