Ex-reality Tv star, Tokunbo Idowu, also known as Tboss is an unforgettable character. The mother of one was one of the contestants of Big Brother Naija Season 2, who made it to the top 5 alongside, Efe, Bisola, TBoss, Debie-Rise, and Marvis.

Tboss is your typical boss lady who would not be trampled upon. Born on March 9, 1984, to an Edo dad and a Romanian mother, Tokunbo spent most of her school days as a boarding student. According to her, while growing up, she struggled with loneliness and depression a lot.

Although she describes her parent’s style of parenting as strict, she still mentions she had a sweet childhood. Tboss gained admission into the prestigious University of Lagos, but only studied there for 9 months, before moving down to Romania.

Tokunbo came to limelight when she became one of the contestants of Big Brother Naija season 2. One very remarkable comment she made while in the house was saying if she won the prize money today, she would spend it all in one week. 

In her words “If I win the 25m today, I will spend the money before next week, it’s not about the money but the relation built here can end up giving you more than 25m.

Serious, my life has never been based on money, I have people hitting on me that have several private jets but I’m here with you people, we are all fighting this fight, competing for the prize, I’m not trying to cheat or disrespect anyone”.

When she realized how much her attitude in the house had caused her hate and criticisms from viewers, as well as screenshots sent to her by her father, she disclosed that she would never participate in the reality show again. Her life after the Big Brother Naija house could be described as rosy, yet bumpy.

The model has a couple of endorsements to her name. In 2017,  she bagged an endorsement deal with Shirleys Confectionery, Abuja. In 2019, he was made brand ambassador by sports betting company, 234Bet.com, she is also one of the brand ambassadors of Instant Pickup, a mobile-enabled laundry app.

In 2019, Tboss revealed she was pregnant and put to bed in August 2019. By the time she decided to reveal the face of her baby girl, she was trolled by cyberbullies who called her daughter a series of ugly names. Tboss also received backlash for not revealing who the father of her child is.

Nevertheless, she celebrated her daughter’s first birthday a couple of days ago. To date, she still stands as one of the most outstanding characters of that season and could be described as the brightest.
